Have you ever visited the Belmont-Paul Women's Equality National Monument and thought "I wish these walls could talk?" Now, you can engage in the ongoing conversation of women's equality with the National Woman's Party's Equality Salon series. Network with fellow National Woman's Party members at these salons, reminiscent of the discussions presided over by Alice Paul during her many decades of work in the historic house at 144 Constitution Ave. NE.
These monthly thought-provoking and inspirational evenings will provide you with an opportunity to discuss contemporary issues of importance to women, surrounded by the unparalleled collection of the National Woman's Party on display at the Belmont-Paul Women's Equality National Monument. Salons will take place on Tuesdays, with discussions beginning at 6:00pm followed by networking and hospitality at 7:15pm. Now is your chance to join and continue historic conversations on the progress toward equality, network with others, and connect with the National Woman's Party community.
