Rebecca Grawl is a licensed, professional DC tour guide with ten years’ experience in public history, museum education, and tourism. Prior to becoming a full-time tour guide, she worked as Director of Education at Amazement Square, the Rightmire Children’s Museum as well as the Special Assistant to the President of the American Revolution Center. She also interned at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston and served as a docent and Educational Department volunteer at the Maier Museum of Art.
Rebecca is also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution as well as serving on the Senior National Board of Management for the National Society Children of the American Revolution. She was elected as National President of the N.S.C.A.R. in 2005 and worked extensively with the National World War II Museum in developing their Student-Teacher Resource Center. She holds a B.A. in American Culture from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College (now Randolph College) and serves as co-president of the college’s alumnae chapter for the Washington, D.C. area.
