Jessica Tava brings to the National Woman’s Party 10 years of professional and volunteer museum experience. She also worked for 25 years in Human Resources at non-profit organizations, including the National Trust for Historic Preservation. As Visitor Services Manager at Sewall-Belmont from 2003 – 2006, she drew on her experience as a docent at the National Building Museum and Gadsby’s Tavern Museum and as a long-time licensed District of Columbia tour guide to interpret the museum, train docents and develop special tours. Ms. Tava is a tile artisan with a particular interest in arts and crafts and art nouveau motifs. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Smith College.
