Connie Tipton is President and CEO of the International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA), with 30-plus years representing dairy manufacturing and marketing companies and their suppliers. In her career at IDFA, she has led successful legislative campaigns to lessen government regulations that interfere with dairy product markets and served on numerous committees.
Tipton currently serves on the boards of BIPAC, the Bryce Harlow Foundation, NAM’s Council of Manufacturing Associations, and the Capitol Hill Day School. In 2002, Connie was selected by two separate Capitol Hill publications as one of the top trade association lobbyists in Washington. In 2009, she was selected by Association Trends magazine as Association Executive of the Year. Prior to joining IDFA, Connie was a development officer at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, managing planning and fundraising activities. She has also served as the special gifts director for the United Way Campaign in both Columbus, Ohio and Washington, DC.
